There are many ways we go about supporting our missions with the help of our congregation and others in the community. Here are some examples, all of which are open to the public.

Events: We enjoy fellowship with our congregation and community by hosting dinners, bazaars, and bake sales. One of our most popular events is the annual Cookie Walk held every December where you are sure to find a variety of delicious treats to give as gifts during the holiday season or just for you to enjoy! This year the cookie walk will be held on Dec. 13th in our Abbey Room, enter through the south door and follow the signs.

Kids Closet: In a joint effort between Potwin Presbyterian Church and Westside Christian Church, we aim to assist in providing clothing for school aged children in the community. Kids closet is open on the first Wednesday of the month from 3:00 to 5:30. We generally carry children’s sizes 6 up to some adult sizes. We happily accept donations of new and/or clean gently used articles of clothing (for all seasons) and shoes. If you would like to assist in this endeavor, please contact the church office at (785)235-1311 for more information. The Kids Closet is currently being housed at West Side Christian Church 432 SW Lindenwood Topeka, KS 66606. Their phone number is (785)234-0469.
